ZAYER S.A. develops and supplies milling machines, machining centers and turnkey solutions for high technology industries and customers with highly demanding technical requirements. To perform its activity, which spans from the design to after-sales service, it takes on the commitments included in the following Corporate Management Policy:

The ZAYER S.A. company’s management policy comprises the following commitments: to satisfy its customers, to hold up respect for human rights, to maintain the integrity of corporate and business ethics, to comply with applicable regulations, to protect the environment, to conserve nature and occupational safety and to seek the satisfaction of all employees, improve their living conditions and contribute to their professional and human development.

  • ZAYER S.A. performs periodic analyses and assessments on risks and opportunities that affect the continuity of its business activity, the health and safety of its workforce and any potential environmental impacts it may generate. Action plans are drawn up to face emergencies, including information or data leaks, whether they affect the company, customers or suppliers.
  • ZAYER S.A. has established the human resources and materials necessary to ensure compliance with this policy, which is known and practiced by all ZAYER S.A. employees and periodically reviewed and adapted.
  • To meet all these conditions, ZAYER S.A. has implemented a Comprehensive Management System based on continuous improvement and in accordance with the provisions set forth in UNE ISO standards.

Health and safety

  • Placing equipment, installations and other measures at the disposal of the workforce to ensure that their work posts are ergonomic and risk-free (safe and healthy).
  • In conjunction with our personnel, detecting and assessing the risks entailed in their activity to eliminate or reduce them, including handling or use of chemical substances.
  • Placing the means for fire prevention, detection and extinction and including these in the implementation of the emergency plan.
  • Encouraging active participation of employees in the planning, execution, assessment and improvement of health and safety procedures.
  • Promoting healthy habits, including in the psychosocial field and comprehensive personal health.

Environment

  • Setting up a system to define measures that reduce the environmental impact of activities and products, including legal requirements and those the organization may contract with its customers.
  • Encouraging reasonable and sustainable use of natural resources and raw materials.
  • Minimizing waste generation and encouraging reuse, recycling and revaluation.
  • Using water responsibly by reducing consumption and preventing dumping of wastewater into the public network or rivers.
  • Reducing greenhouse gases by improving energy efficiency and increasing the use of renewable energy in both our products and facilities.
  • Drawing up protocols for the safe use of chemical substances and the rational use of raw materials considered scarce or the purchase of which involves a considerable environmental impact.

The goals set forth above are developed and specified each year, along with other particulars for each year directly established by Senior Management or by the functions and levels in the organization that they are delegated to. This goals are reviewed methodically.
