ZAYER takes a step forward with the launch of the ACCUBASK Project, a Research and Development initiative focused on improving precision engineering technologies. This project aims to address the metrological challenges of ultra-precision machining and reaffirms ZAYER’s commitment to staying at the forefront of technological innovation.

The goal of ACCUBASK is to develop machines and production systems that exceed current capabilities by implementing smarter, more efficient, and sustainable manufacturing processes. These advancements are expected to lead to production with minimal defects and more efficient resource use.

ACCUBASK is based on three essential pillars: availability, automation, and precision, thus ensuring that the manufacturing equipment is not only reliable and autonomous but also meets the most demanding quality standards. This approach is distinguished by its focus on precision and industrial metrology, key elements for progress towards superior precision manufacturing.

The project will address several significant technological challenges, including the development of advanced metrology technologies that adapt to demanding production environments, the optimization of geometric precision in machinery and manufacturing systems, and the exploration of intelligent processing and analysis methods. The ultimate goal is to achieve a significant advancement in productive capabilities through the integration of innovative solutions that leverage the latest in precision engineering and advanced metrology technology, setting a precedent for the future of the manufacturing industry.

ACCUBASK has been co-financed by the Basque Government (SPRI Group) and the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
